The 1HD-FTE Alloy Rocker Cover is a direct replacement upgrade for engines fitted with the 1HD FTE configuration. This alloy rocker cover replaces the factory plastic unit with a strong cast alloy housing designed to eliminate cracking, distortion and oil leaks caused by heat and engine vibration.

The factory plastic rocker cover commonly fails at rear corners and bolt holes. When cracking occurs, oil leaks begin and are often mistaken for gasket failure. Replacing the gasket alone does not solve the issue because the cover itself loses rigidity. Installing a 1HD-FTE Alloy Rocker Cover removes the failure point altogether and provides a permanent solution to oil leaks caused by brittle plastic covers.

Manufactured from high strength cast alloy, this rocker cover is built to withstand long term exposure to engine heat, vibration and internal crankcase pressure.

The rigid alloy housing maintains consistent bolt tension and prevents the flexing that leads to poor gasket sealing in plastic covers. This allows the gasket to seal evenly across the mating surface and prevents oil seepage that normally worsens over time.

Finished in silver, the 1HD-FTE Alloy Rocker Cover also provides a cleaner and more durable engine bay appearance.
