1HD-FTE Injector Washer Kit – Don’t Refit Without It

If you’re pulling injectors on a 1HD-FTE or 1HD-FT, this kit is not optional. Reusing old copper seat washers and worn o-rings is one of the most common causes of injector leaks, combustion gas blow-by, and return line weeping after an otherwise clean injector service. What’s in the Kit

Each kit contains six sets of the following genuine components:

• Injector seat washer – the copper crush washer that seals the injector tip against the combustion chamber
• Injector body o-ring – seals the injector body in the head, prevents fuel and combustion gas tracking up the bore
• Return / leak off washer – seals the leak off line connection at the top of the injector

All components are Genuine Toyota. Not aftermarket. Not pattern parts. If you’re going to the trouble of removing injectors – whether for a service, a swap into a reconditioned head, or a full engine rebuild – fit new seals while everything is apart.

Why Genuine on Injector Seals

The seat washer controls injector protrusion depth and combustion sealing. A washer that’s even slightly off spec affects spray pattern, combustion efficiency, and can cause localised overheating in the combustion chamber. Genuine Toyota components are manufactured to the correct crush thickness and material spec for the 1HD-FTE and 1HD-FT engines. It’s a small cost against the labour already invested in the job.
