Presenting our version 3.0 manifold to suit the L series engines.
We werent happy with fitments of other manifolds we were using and fitting to our turbo engines or customers vehciles in the workshop.
So we have gone ahead and designed our very own manifold.
We have improved our design over any other manfold on the market and moved the turbo location.
This means YES it will suit A/C!
Yes is is comptible with 3L & 5L engines.
Access to the drivers side of the engine is greatly improved, this means changing of oil filters on models with long travel shock towers is a breeze.
Manfiold technical details:
– CNC cut tube lengths are first cut to perfect length
– Manifold is then assembled in a 12mm thick plate jig to ensure perfect fitment and a repeatable product, so we know the flange angles are correct on every manifold.
– Manifolds are then purge Tig welded
– The manifolds are then re-drilled and then final tapped to M8X1.25 thread size on the T2 turbo flange in a mill to ensure accurate thread angles.
– Following the final tapping, Both manifold mounting faces are milled to perfection, ensuring proper sealing to the cylinder head and turbo inlet flange.
– Finallly the Manifolds are coated in a flame proof black paint.
